2014 Camry le maintenance schedule, what should I do at 140k miles?

I just bought a 2014 Camry LE with 140k miles, and I want to make sure it stays in good shape. What maintenance should I focus on? I’ve heard mixed things about changing the transmission fluid after 100k miles. Should I change it or leave it alone? Also, what about spark plugs and other things that should be checked or replaced?

I wouldn’t change the transmission fluid at this point if it’s never been done. Some say it can cause problems. I do a drain and fill every 60k miles, but that’s just me.

If the transmission is shifting fine, I’d probably leave it alone. But if you really want to change it, just do a drain and fill instead of a full flush.

Definitely check the spark plugs if they haven’t been changed. They should be replaced around 120k miles, so you’re due for a new set. Also, check the serpentine belt, coolant, and brakes.

140k miles is a good time to check all fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, and power steering. If the suspension feels rough, you might need new struts too.

I’d check the motor mounts. Mine were shot around 150k miles and made the car vibrate a lot. Also, clean the throttle body if it hasn’t been done.

Just keep up with oil changes and check for leaks. At this mileage, small leaks can turn into bigger issues if ignored.
