2016 Toyota Corolla LE - Display Speed?!

The small display at the bottom right on the speedometer, is there any way I can change the settings to show mph like on newer cars??? I just want to see it :pensive:

Nope, not on this car. The speedo is right there though, not sure what the point of a digital speed display would be in this case.

Sometimes we just like certain things :slight_smile:

This is what men have to deal with with women. We can have the biggest, nicest speedometer around, and you just want something new

/s but also damn, life sucks.

:cry: Being a woman is so hard! I just wanna see a number switch digitally, it’s been a want of mine since I got the car in 2016 :confused: I have no true reason, I just simply want it (idk why everyone else in the comments is so upset about this, it’s not like I said how do I change my oil).

@Verne
Lol, I’m just messin’ with you! I actually had no idea you’re a woman when I wrote that, tbh.

There are ways to upgrade the whole cluster to digital, but it’s probably gonna be expensive and time-consuming—from researching what clusters could be used to possibly hand-wiring up whichever one you pick, or getting it professionally installed. At the end of the day, it’s probably better to just stick with the factory one, honestly.

Ermmm, unfortunately, we don’t have it anymore and I couldn’t find anything online :slight_smile:

Try something like this: https://www.amazon.com/wiiyii-Display-Smart-Gauge-Works/dp/B0957S3F3H/ref=asc_df_B0957S3F3H?mcid=897f2e2e3068315084bce0af00025ef6&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693624952237&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7102582845054399570&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9015642&hvtargid=pla-1342888054079&psc=1

This is a display that takes info from the OBD port in your car. Throw it on the upper dash or somewhere that doesn’t block your view. It has to be less expensive than a complete gauge cluster upgrade.

Also, you can get Bluetooth OBD transmitters that will display similar info on your phone, but they are more expensive and require launching an app, etc.

I’d be more concerned with the ABS and traction lights being on. Also, fill your gas; don’t let it get that low.
