I’m curious if the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE has an eCVT or a regular CVT? Anyone know?

Yes, except for the i-Force Max hybrid SUVs and trucks.

You’re welcome! It’s frustrating, I did a lot of research and talked to a friend who’s been a Toyota mechanic for 15 years.

Actually, it’s a 7-speed dual-clutch manual transmission with crawl gear but no reverse!
