2024 TRD Off Road I-Force Max Pricing

I’m in the process of negotiating for a 2024 TRD Off Road i-FORCE MAX and the dealer I’m talking to is saying they can’t go below MSRP. But I’ve seen posts on this forum where people are getting them under MSRP. The dealer will only consider quotes from other Toyota dealerships. Does anyone here have quotes for under MSRP for an I-Force Max TRD Off Road they could share?

Just tell them to drop the price or you’re walking. Then walk. Find a dealer who is willing to work with you. I bet it’s easier to get a deal on a non-I-Force Max.

It’s definitely easier for a non-I-Force Max. This is the color and package I want, but inventory isn’t great for this specific setup, so it’s tough to find what I’m after.

@Leighton
If you’re being very specific, be prepared to pay a bit more or keep waiting.

@Leighton
You don’t have much leverage if you’re picky about the specifics. The posts about getting deals under MSRP usually show more common colors and trims, so it’s harder to negotiate for a custom choice like yours.

@Blakely
Not surprised, just trying to get some leverage. That’s why I posted here.

Got it. I saw you’re in Colorado. Buying a Tacoma there can be tough. Hopefully, some of the suggestions here help you out.

@Leighton
I waited five months during the pandemic to get what I wanted. It was tough, but it was worth it in the end. If it’s the right truck, a couple thousand bucks doesn’t matter.

@Leighton
Find a dealer who isn’t difficult. Tell them what you’re looking for, and they can check with other dealers to find something similar.

That dealership is not being honest. In Southern California, many dealers are offering Tacomas under MSRP. Carlsbad Toyota is offering $2,500 below sticker price.

I highly recommend Carlsbad Toyota. I bought my Tacoma there and had great service and a good price.

Where are you located? I work at a San Diego Toyota dealership and could offer you one for a few hundred over invoice.

I’m based in Dillon, Colorado, about an hour from Denver.

@Leighton
That’s a good excuse to fly into San Diego and drive back. I’ve bought my Raptor, my kids’ F150, and my Bronco from out of state, and had a great road trip. If you’re interested, we have about 20 Tacomas in stock right now, and Toyota has good financing rates this month.

@Kerr
I might be interested. Can you give me a quote?

@Leighton
Have you checked with Mountain States Toyota or Toyota of Colorado Springs?

@Leighton
I’ve heard that Denver dealerships aren’t offering discounts below MSRP. Would love to know if that’s changing.

@Leighton
Mountain States Toyota has some decent deals on Tacomas. All their other Tacomas are $1,500-$3,000 below MSRP, but not sure about the I-Force Max.

Looks like they have some incoming stock. I’ll reach out to them for a quote. Thanks for the heads-up.

@Leighton
I had a great experience with Mountain States Toyota. Bought my 2021 Tacoma there in early 2021. They picked me up from the airport, and the whole process took under an hour. I got $2,000 off MSRP, plus a $500 military discount. Great deal considering the market at that time.
