Anyone else dealing with this? Just bought a 2025 Camry and haven’t even hit 1,000 miles yet. Service advisor said the cam housing machining was off. They ordered a new housing and two cams, but parts are on a three-week backorder.
I’ve been getting the low oil level warning on and off too. It disappears after turning the car off. From what I’ve read, it’s a common software issue on the 2025 models.

Mine started showing up at 400 miles. Still under 1,000 miles now, and it’s frustrating.
@Murphy
My dealer had to contact Toyota to figure it out. Having major engine work this early on makes me worry about long-term reliability. And honestly, warranty repairs don’t pay well for flat-rate techs, so I’m not sure how thorough they’ll be.
