I wouldn’t say it looks cheap, but I’m concerned about how much it will cost to replace if it ever fails. Can’t exactly go without it if it breaks.

Yeah, manufacturers can set the price as high as they want. It’s not like you have any other option when it breaks.
A 2025 model? It looks almost identical to a 2022.
