I’m rebuilding the knuckles on my 80 series and noticed that the groove on the inner axle shafts was a bit excessive. I’m replacing them with OEM shafts. Anyone else done this?

I used a standard socket set and some specialty tools for the knuckles.

Not yet, but I’m hoping for smoother performance once it’s all back together.

It took me most of the day, but I was taking my time to make sure everything was done right.
