Anyone heard any solid info on what the 2026 Tundra might bring? I know a V8 is out of the question, and full-time 4WD seems unlikely. But what about recovery hooks? Anything else expected?
Can they just stop killing the engine after remote start when you open the door? My F-150 never did that.

My Forester does the same thing, as do most cars I’ve had with OEM remote start. Annoying, but pretty common.
@Heath
Hondas don’t.

Yeah, I switched from an F-150, and I miss being able to remote start and let it idle as long as I wanted. This is gonna suck for summer Home Depot runs with the dog in the truck. With my Ford, I’d just restart it every 15 minutes from the entrance.

That’s because it’s still running Toyota Safety Sense 2.5.

Wish there was a way to disable that.

Only thing I’ve been disappointed about so far in my ‘24.
Not sure, but last year they announced the next Pro color on June 11th. Looking forward to seeing what they do this time around.
2026 should be the mid-cycle refresh, and Tundra just got a new chief engineer. Maybe they’ll actually listen to customer complaints this time.
A lot of people are hoping for a facelift and tow hooks. Wouldn’t be surprised if a digital dash becomes standard since all the Tacomas have one now.
