I’m really loving my 2022 Platinum, located in Skokomish, WA. I’ve got 34’s on 20" wheels and they’ve been handling really well in ice, slush, and mud. I’m thinking about upgrading to 35’s on 18" wheels soon. (It’s a 2022 Platinum Short Bed). Anyone else got a similar setup?

Non-hybrid Platinum and power running boards are the way to go imo. Love the seat extension, but the only thing I miss is the Capstone’s dual-pane side glass. What size tire did you go with?

Why no hybrid? It provides more power

The throttle response in the RPM band and brake bite are more natural in the non-hybrid, and keeping the rear under-seat storage is a huge plus. I do wish there was a way to permanently disable the Start/Stop system though.

I’m surprised more people aren’t bothered by the brake bite, honestly. I hated it.

There’s a wiring harness you can use to disable it permanently. That said, I never have an issue with mine since I press the brake so hard to start it that mine never turns on.

I agree with this. It bugged me for like a day, but I just got used to where the brake pedal needs to be pretty quickly.
