Anyone else’s 2016 Avalon cup holder peeling?

I’ve already replaced the center console cover, now just need to work on the door handles too.

Bought a cover on eBay and watched a replacement video on YouTube. There’s a similar video for the door handles, but I haven’t gotten around to that yet.

There’s real leather for the console cover. Here’s the link to the one I got:

No luck finding leather for the door handles, though.

Yep, the interior trim is cheap. My 2015 has chrome peeling on the console lid and driver armrest. Mechanically it’s a solid car, but the interior trim isn’t great.

I replaced my armrests pretty easily and didn’t spend much. Hoping to tackle the center console next.

Not sure about the rules on sharing links here, but there’s a good YouTube guide and some eBay listings for replacements.

Here’s a tip: try taking off the cup holder trim ring and peeling away the old chrome. Then grab some chrome vinyl on Amazon and wrap it up.

Good plan, that’s what I’m going to do. The ‘chrome’ has cut me and my wife too many times.

Same here with my ‘18. The OEM replacements aren’t worth it to me, so I went with a pleather cover from eBay.
