Just curious if anyone here has been dealing with the recalls and engine problems with the 2018-2020 Odyssey? My car’s been waiting on repairs for a while now…
Not sure how they’re going to handle all of this… we’re still waiting on our fuel pump replacement from the last recall.

Has anyone had an engine failure with their Odyssey? Or is this just another way for them to push Honda to switch to a 4-cylinder like Toyota?

It’s definitely happened. Plenty of people have had engine issues on both the Odyssey and other Honda models. The recall range doesn’t cover all the cars it should.
Nothing new on my 2018 Odyssey’s recall page. Checked the Honda website here. My dealer was supposed to order the parts for the fuel pump recall, but I haven’t heard anything back. Decided to skip the FAKRA MOST recall since I haven’t had any issues.

That’s what this investigation is about. They already issued a recall, but it missed so many cars having the same problem. This investigation is looking into that.
Yeah, mine totally failed. Couldn’t even get it in neutral to load it onto the trailer. Looks like mismatched main bearings caused it to lock up from what I’ve read.
