How do the Ridge Grapplers handle in the snow?
10/10 would buy again. Had these for two years, and they still look new. Pricey, but worth it.
Good to hear. Just put them on my truck but haven’t had snow yet. Thanks!

@Kel
They do okay in snow, but a proper winter tire will always be better.
That said, they’re a solid all-around tire—smooth, quiet, and durable. Only had one puncture, and it was a huge chunk of metal that ruined the tire completely.
I’ve been through three sets already. Best way to keep them lasting is to rotate them every time you do an oil change.
@Kel
Been hearing mixed reviews. Good to see some positives. I’m at 35K on my stock Pro tires and looking forward to getting something beefier.

I’ve heard they aren’t great in snow, and the tread doesn’t seem aggressive enough for deep mud either. I live in a high desert area and really like my Wildpeak RTs.
Got stuck in deep snow once even with a rear locker, and that’s when I really missed having MTs. But I hate how fast they wear down and how sketchy they feel on ice.
@ruth
I don’t get a ton of snow near Boston, but I like driving up north to ski. Might have to check out the Wildpeaks. Thanks!
It’s CAVALRY, not Calvary. C’mon guys.

These tires are garbage in deep snow.
I’ve got them on my ‘21 Sport, and I can’t even make it through 2 feet of snow in 2WD while my buddies on DuraTracs have zero issues. Super frustrating.
Yeah, you need 4WD with these. No way they’d handle deep snow in 2WD.
@Leander
They look amazing, but I’d never buy them again. If I did, I’d go for a narrower version.
Congrats
That’s a nice ride.
That thing is clean.
Love that color. It’s a beast. Right now, I just have a 4Runner, but I’d love to add a 5.7 Tundra to the garage someday.

Appreciate it! Hope you find one—planning to keep mine forever
@Leander
Man, same. Cars are too damn expensive to keep trading them in!
