Can a 2025 Tundra tow a 30 foot trailer safely?

I just got a 2025 Tundra Off Road because I plan to buy a boat. We found one that’s perfect for us, and with the trailer, the total weight is between 6000-7000 lbs. The trailer itself is 30 feet long, including the tongue.

If I use a weight distribution hitch and keep my speed down on highways, will my truck be able to tow it safely?

Definitely.

You might need air bags, but it should handle that weight just fine.

You mean air suspension? Don’t all Tundras have that now?

Mine has the AVS tow package since it’s the TRD Off Road. Is that what you’re talking about?

@Nash
Sounds like it. Not sure of the exact difference. Mine has low, medium, and high settings for the rear suspension.

Tundras can come with a rear air suspension system that adjusts to keep the truck level when carrying heavy loads or towing. Some models also let you manually switch between three height modes: High for slow off-road driving or heavy loads, Low for easier loading, and Normal for daily driving. The Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system also helps with towing by adjusting the damping force based on road conditions.

Yeah, it should be fine.
