Car vibrates when accelerating and stop when foot off the gas pedal

Hello to all of you.

When I press the gas pedal in my 2009 Toyota Camry, it vibrates continuously and stops when I let it go. Turning or going uphill exacerbates the problem. When I brought it to the Toyota dealership, they found torn bushings on the control arms, sway bar link grease leaks, and warped brake rotors.

With a 90% probability that the vibration is caused by warped rotors, they advised me to replace the calipers, pads, and rotors. However, I have seen recommendations on YouTube regarding similar symptoms being caused by inner joints or worn-out bearings.

After examining the wheels for movement, I discovered no bearing problems. Could there be an alternative reason for the vibration besides the warped rotors, such as worn inner joints or bearings? I would be grateful for any guidance or experiences that are comparable!

Warped rotors are a likely cause, but also check your engine and transmission mounts. Sometimes worn mounts can cause similar vibrations.

The vibration you’re experiencing could be due to multiple issues. While warped rotors are a likely cause, worn inner joints or bearings can also contribute to vibrations, especially during turns. If bearings are not the issue, the torn bushings and sway bar links might also affect handling. It’s worth considering all potential factors or getting a second opinion from another mechanic.
