Oh, you lucky dog! You got the crewmax 6.5 in green before they stopped making it. I love that truck! I got the same model in dark gray for 2024. We’ll probably see each other on the road soon. What’s that front bumper? Looks awesome.
@JamesHenry
You guys are killing me with that setup! What bumper is that? Are those 34” or 35” tires? Did you lift it?

Mine is a CBI Baja bumper, and the rails are from CBI too. I added a 2” front spacer lift, but I’m thinking of upgrading to Dobinsons. For the rear, I’ve got factory air bags with AFE adjuster arms to give it 1.5” of lift. Tires are Nokian Outpost NATs, 295/70/18, which should be around 34.3”.
@JamesHenry
Haven’t seen much about Nokian tires here, but I’ve had great experiences with them on my other vehicles. I’m considering them for my Tundra too, though I haven’t swapped out the stock tires yet. How do you like them? I don’t want to lose ride comfort with the upgrade. My stock tires have been really good in snow. I’d love to hear how they compare in the ride quality.
@CarLoverDave1
So far, I’m really impressed with the Nokians. They’re a little noisier than the TRD Pro Falkens, but nothing too bad. They’re 3-peak mountain snow rated, come with a 50-60k warranty, and are pretty light. I can’t really complain about the noise level. If you know Nokian from their winter tires, you’ll know they’re pretty reputable. Made in the USA too, and the price is competitive with Falken AT4s.
@JamesHenry
Thanks for the insight! Those will probably be my next set. I just got my truck recently and have been testing it stock to figure out what I want to upgrade. I’ve got Nokian WR G4 AWs on the wife’s Lexus and our shared RAV4, and those things are amazing in the snow. I even pulled out a Silverado with the Lexus during a storm last winter. That guy had a big lift and ATs, but my Lexus just cruised right through. Haha!

Hey man, here’s the link for the bumper: DV8 MTO. The lights I used are from the Elite series — 20” light bar and 3” pod lights. The winch is also linked here, as I’m an Amazon associate, so if you use the link, it helps me out. Also running 35” Wildpeak AT tires with a 2” preload lift.
@jefferson
Forgot to mention the wheels – I’m using the RR7H from Relations Race Wheel. Here’s the link for everything: Amazon.com: MTO Series Winch Front Bumper for 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra | Retains OEM Features | Mount LED Light Bar & Pod Lights | Accepts Multiple Size Winches | Compatible with Stock Skid Plates | DV8 Offroad : Automotive
@JamesHenry
That looks great! I’m thinking about installing a similar bumper. Do you know if cutting the stock bumper to fit an off-road bumper would void the warranty?

I can’t speak for all dealerships, but mine didn’t have an issue since I didn’t mess with any mechanical parts. They were fine with the mods. Hope that helps! Here’s the link for the bumper again: DV8 MTO. The lights are Elite series, and I’ve got a 20” light bar and 3” pod lights. That’s a solid truck. I love the color and the black cap makes it look less like an SUV.
Thanks! I appreciate it.
@RoadWarriorX
Looks awesome, man!
How are you liking the smart cap?

I love it! I camp out of the back, and I’ve got some content on my IG and YouTube. It’s expensive but totally worth it.
Great truck! What’s the name of that bumper?
