I bought a 2021 Toyota Camry SE AWD with 47,000 miles. It has a heated steering wheel, a moonroof, and a bunch of driving assists. I got it for $22,500. Does that seem fair? It’s also certified gold pre-owned.
That seems like a good deal. My friend got a 2021 SE FWD for $30,000, but it didn’t have a heated steering wheel, moonroof, or any driving assists. Plus, the rims were scuffed up pretty badly.

Yeah, the sticker price was $22,500, but they tried selling me some extra stuff. Since it was already Toyota gold certified, I skipped that. After registration, sales tax, and fees, I ended up paying around $25,800 over four years.
I think you did alright. I bought a 2021 XSE FWD with similar features—heated seats, moonroof, and Toyota Safety Sense—for $22,500, but mine has a branded title. There’s a dealership here in Houston that specializes in buying insurance-recovered vehicles after hurricanes. They check them thoroughly, and mine had no signs of water damage. It’s the nicest car I’ve owned in 80 years, and I plan to keep driving it for as long as I can.
@Poe
That sounds like an interesting place. No wonder you got an XSE for that price.
That price sounds fair. Hope you enjoy the car!
I had a similar Camry, and I think you got a good deal. These cars hold their value well, and with AWD, you’ll be set for any weather.

I’ve had five Accords and one Altima (never again) since 1990. All had a moonroof, and none ever leaked. I guess I’ve been lucky?
I work at a Toyota dealership, and from what I’ve seen, you got a solid deal. We have similar FWD models with 50-60k miles going for $22-23k.
Seems like a reasonable price. I bought a 2020 XSE with 46k miles for $25,500 back in December. After checking a lot of listings, I found that XSE models tend to be around $3,000 more than SE models.
That’s a pretty fair price for what you got.
I’d say that’s a really good deal.
