Do you love or hate the look of the exposed tires from the front of the new 4Runner top trims?

Personally, I love it.

It’s something I don’t think about and probably will never think about.

You will now :slight_smile:

Take it offroading and find out why it’s a thing. No, not dirt roads. Real offroading. Rocks. Boulders. Steep ledges. You’ll figure it out real quick.

@Ziv
I don’t off-road and don’t plan on off-roading but thanks for the explanation I guess

It’s good for rock crawling. Exposing the front of the tire allows the vehicle to get up on a tall ledge or rocks more easily with less damage, instead of hitting what would normally be a bumper in front of the tire.

@Ziv
Thanks again for more information I didn’t request or need. lol

I’m here to look at Toyotas, not to be mainsplained to lmao

@Robin
>mainsplained
Yeah ok, I don’t know your gender, so just fuck off.

@Robin
Damn you’re coming off real miserable here.

If you actually off road ever you will learn why they did that. Ripped the front and rear bumpers off my 5th gen multiple times before cutting them. Went to steel after a while.

Thank you. People commenting that they don’t like it have no business owning an offroad-oriented vehicle.

it’s basically a factory viper cut. i don’t hate it

Fender flares make it look weird for me. Too many “steps” from the bottom of the bumper to the flares.

The color matched fender flares such as on the Limited help with the side profile looks. Especially since the flares don’t extend all the way down to the rocker panel.

The flares being high gloss black is also a baffling decision for a trim level that presents itself as being off-road oriented.

@HybridHannah2
Would really love someone to photoshop those tires onto this gif.

@HybridHannah2
I’m ngl every time I see this design it makes me think they used an early release of chatgpt to design, it looks so cheap and ugly
