Road brine is about 6.5 times saltier than ocean water, with a salt concentration of 23% compared to the ocean’s 3.5%. This high salinity, in the form of road salt, can really damage your car. Salt speeds up the process of rusting, especially when combined with the heat your vehicle generates. This creates a perfect condition for rust, mechanical problems, and a shorter vehicle life. As a result, the car loses its value faster.
Make sure to wash off that salt to prevent damage!
This is the worst part of living in New England. I get an unlimited car wash pass every winter. I don’t like car washes touching the paint, but I hate underbody corrosion even more. Good advice!

I did that too. Paid for the undercarriage wash. You really need to clean the underside manually. The frame has a lip under the cab, and stuff just sits there. Same with inside.
@Lior
Haha, I know that’s a silly question, but winter usually means cold weather, so if it’s cold, it might snow. And when it’s cold, you shouldn’t use the hose. It’s a tough situation.
