Garage door opener doesn’t fit on the visor in my 2025 Camry LE, any fixes?

As the title says, I’m having a problem with my new Camry.

My garage door opener won’t fit properly on the sun visor.

It’s just a standard three-button LiftMaster remote, but I can’t seem to find any XL clips that work.

I did see a case on Amazon that Velcros around the visor, but I was hoping for a better solution.

Has anyone else run into this and found a good fix?

Yeah, we ran into the same issue. Ended up just keeping it in the center console. We have Homelink for the garage, but we still need a clicker for our front gate.

If you ever think about switching to Homelink, I upgraded the mirror in my Corolla with an OEM one from Gentex, model ADVGENFLCHLN.

The wiring harness is usually in the upper console or inside the camera housing, so if it’s already there, it’s an easy swap.

Our Camry SE came with the convenience package, so it already had it, but that mirror should be the same one used in the 2025 models.

Toyota also sells a battery-powered Homelink option if you don’t want to mess with wiring, though it doesn’t have auto-dimming.

I don’t use a garage door opener, but my SE has three programmable buttons on the rearview mirror for that. Not sure if the LE trim has them, though.
