Got new tires after hitting 46k miles… what do you all think?

Just put on a set of Goodyear DuraTracs. The ride feels amazing now, and it really softens up the truck. What do you all think about them?

How’s the ride with those? Do they make a lot of noise on the road?

Honestly, the noise is pretty minimal. I had geolanders before and would say it’s about the same. I was expecting it to be louder, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

Is this your second set of tires or just a replacement for the originals?

This is the first set I’ve bought myself. I had the geolanders (OEM) up until 45.5k, but they wouldn’t have lasted through winter, so it was time for a change.

@North
I went with 275/60r20 Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts on mine without any mods. Lost some MPG though.

There’s nothing like a fresh set of tires. What brand did you have before?

What size are the new ones?

They’re the same size as the originals, 265/60r20. I didn’t need to make any changes to the truck, but it does sit a bit higher now.

I’m at 21k miles, and I’m jealous. Nice choice with those tires!

Don’t forget about brake shoes and pads too!

The person who posted meant tires, not brakes.

Haha, I know! I was just messing around.
