I’m thinking about getting the OEM Toyota Hard Tonneau Cover (PT954-35240) for my 2024 Tacoma SR5. Has anyone else purchased this cover for their truck? Here’s the link if you’re curious: https://parts.frontiertoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-hard-tonneau-cover-standard-bed-5ft-2024-tacoma-pt95435240
It’s pretty expensive. I’d probably go with the new three-panel diamond back cover instead for a little more money.
I currently have an Mx4 Bakflip on mine (found it cheaper elsewhere, but it’s basically the same as the OEM hard cover). So far, it’s been great! No complaints. I’m probably going to swap it out for a shell next year if all goes as planned. I needed dry storage for my work tools during the rainy season, and it’s handled that well. It’s also managed the first bits of bad fall weather pretty well! They make solid products—my buddy’s had one on his Colorado for years with no issues.
I have it and no issues so far. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t make the bed fully waterproof.
