Asking as someone new to beadlocks, what is their purpose? I know they are used in drag racing but I’m not clear on their specific benefits

Never mind, I just looked it up. Pretty interesting! They look awesome

They prevent the tires from spinning on the wheel
I have a question, how much power are you making and what kind of surface are you on that you’re spinning rims on?

I asked about the torque you’re putting down in the last post. I’m curious too. It requires a lot of power to need beadlocks for functionality.
@Emory
I hear everyone say this, but my mostly stock scat pack has been spinning the wheels in the tires since I installed them 2 years ago. Everyone claims it can’t happen, but I marked the wheels and tires, and I re-mark the tires each time I take them off. Sure enough, they slip every trip to the track, usually half an inch to an inch each time. The only way I keep them somewhat balanced is by using wheel beads.

I’m currently at the limit of the transmission’s torque. We have drag events here on a prepped surface, so a drag setup really helps.
@Ezra
I was just wondering what your power level is, I’m at about 650 ft-lbs at the rear wheels and haven’t started spinning rims on 335s yet. I do have textured bead seats.
Is this the original wheel spoke pattern? How did you modify it to fit? I really like your style

Thank you! This has the OEM spoke design and color but they are 17x10.5, so they aren’t the factory wheels.
Wow! Those look incredible
