How much are you paying for insurance on your GR Corolla?

I’m thinking about picking up a 2025 GR Corolla, and my insurance company told me they need a VIN to give me a quote.

Just curious—what are you all paying for insurance on your GR Corolla?

$83 per month through State Farm. 38M living in the Midwest.

Edit: Full coverage, $1,000 deductible, 500k/250k coverage.

I was quoted $150 a month on the southeast coast. I’m 44 with similar coverage. Haven’t had any tickets in years.

Around $75 a month with a $500 deductible through State Farm. 40 years old, and I’ve had about 50 moving violations over the years.

You guys are really convincing me to check out State Farm. I’m paying more than double that with Geico. Might just be a location thing though—I’m in NYC.

@Tilden
Check them out, but be careful. When I bought my GR, they originally quoted me around $600 (for 6 months). I paid in full ($850 total for two cars), and three weeks later they called and said underwriting adjusted it—now it’s an extra $700-800 (for 6 months), plus an additional $320 for my other car (2015 Jeep). I’m 34F, no claims, no accidents, no tickets, and I bundle two cars and renters insurance. Looking for another company now.

@Tilden
Same here—Geico is ripping me off. Called them to ask about it, and they just said ‘those are the rates’ with no interest in helping. Looking to switch ASAP.

@Tilden
State Farm originally quoted me $550 a month (23M, no tickets or accidents at the time). Ended up going with Florida Farm Bureau for $260 per month, but that was before I got three speeding tickets this year.

$290 per month for full coverage with $1,000 deductibles.

I’m 25M with a perfect record and no claims. I could find something cheaper, but I bundle my car and motorcycle insurance. Any company offering me a lower car rate would end up costing me more overall because my bike insurance would increase.

I’m 20M and ran some quotes. The lowest I got was Geico at $380 per month.

Others were even worse—Progressive wanted $480, State Farm was $830, and Allstate quoted $411. I ran these using a GR Corolla VIN since I’m still deciding on the car.

@TomHenry
That’s per month?!

That’s basically a second car payment lol.

Yeah, gotta pay to play.

@Fallon
Might be worth waiting until you turn 25. Insurance should drop a lot then. Also, keep in mind there’s a high chance of getting more tickets with this car.

I’m 29 and pay $350 a month with USAA in South Florida.

Edit: This is for the Morizo edition.

I also have USAA and pay around $280 a month in Atlanta. Feels kinda high.

@Adley
Probably should have mentioned mine’s the Morizo edition.

@Adley
Damn, I’m paying $67 a month with USAA.

Not a GR Corolla owner, but I got a quote from Geico for $1,484 for 6 months on a used ‘23 Core model I was considering.

I’m 29, have three cars, no accidents or tickets, and good credit. There are so many factors that go into pricing that the best option is just to get a quote with a VIN.
