When I turn the air off, it doesn’t fully stop—just slows down. If it was blowing heat before, it keeps blowing warm air, just at a lower level. Also, it seems tied to speed—when I’m moving, it blows harder, and when I’m idling, it slows down.
How do I actually turn it off completely?
Have you tried switching the vent to recirculate? That might help.

So turn on recirculate first, then shut the system off? I’ll try that and update after.

I don’t have this issue, but in my old car, if the outside air was on, it would still let air in even when turned off.

I’ve noticed the same thing. Not sure if there’s a fix. My guess is air still flows in from outside when driving, just from movement alone.

Same here. I figured it was normal—my 2016 Corolla sedan did the same thing.
