I think this might be my car for life. Am I crazy?

The best way to describe this car is that it feels like my S21 Ultra. It does everything I need, looks great, and has no pointless extras.

I’ve been using my S21 Ultra since it came out, and I plan to keep it until it stops working. That’s exactly how I feel about my new Camry.

I got the XLE with the premium package. It’s understated and classy. I almost went for the ocean gem SE because it looked cool, but the tan interior and the tan-grey exterior of this XLE won me over. I like that it blends in and isn’t flashy.

The layout inside is perfect. The ride is smooth, the gas mileage is great, and everything from the infotainment to the climate controls is set up just right. Compared to my old Subaru Outback Wilderness, this car is better in almost every way—except off-roading, which I barely did anyway.

I plan to keep this car for as long as I can. When the wheels wear out, I’ll just replace them and keep going.

We’re about to buy a ‘25 model. My partner’s ‘16 has 220K miles and has never needed major repairs. I’ve replaced the pads and rotors, and it could use new struts, but it still runs and rides great.

220K miles on a 2016? Do you guys drive across the country?
