It’s just a sketch, but it’s not bad. I’m mostly worried about how the front will turn out though.

Yeah, I’ve heard people say it’ll have a horizontal screen and more buttons instead of just touch. I hope that’s true because I really don’t like touchscreens.
@Juno
I love the idea of physical buttons. Feels more natural and easy to use.

Our 2006 Outback was at the shop, and they gave us a 2024 Crosstrek loaner. Nice ride, but man, I hated that vertical screen.
@Maris
Yeah, feels like they just slapped an iPad in there to save money.

Exactly. From what I’ve read, it’s cheaper for them to just throw in a touchscreen instead of designing a bunch of buttons.

More buttons? Yes, please. More cowbell? Also yes.

Yeah, buttons make things easier. Hopefully, they bring them back.

I bought my Subaru because of the big vertical touchscreen! I actually prefer it over horizontal ones.
@Vesper
That’s cool, but I think most people prefer the buttons and landscape screen. Just my take!
@Juno
It kind of has a boxy look, reminds me of the new Toyota Land Cruiser.

Right? The new Forester looks too much like a Ford Escape to me. I’m not a fan.

Yeah, it looks just like any other midsize SUV now. Not a fan either.
@Juno
If they update the WRX with that new screen, I’d trade my 2023 in a heartbeat. The current system is just terrible.
@Juno
And when that screen breaks, you’re out two grand, and everything connected to it stops working.
@Juno
Touchscreens are a hassle when they break. I hope they make repairs easier.

@Wesley
Is that a demon riding shotgun? Haha!
