It has 220,000 miles. Is there anything I should look out for? She’s mostly just going to use it to get to and from school.
That’s a lot of miles for an older hybrid. It’s cheap, but at least have the battery checked.
With that age and mileage, the hybrid battery is probably on its last leg. Try to find a non-hybrid one instead. If it’s a 2.4, make sure the piston rings were fixed. If it’s a 2.5 non-hybrid, you should be fine. But yeah, that’s a lot of miles for what they’re probably asking.
I’d look for something with 120k to 150k miles at the most.

Yeah, but expect to pay at least twice as much if you’re going that route.
I’d watch out for oil leaks on the 4-cylinder engine. And how’s the hybrid battery doing? If you’re on a budget, a regular 4 or 6-cylinder Camry would be a better bet. You won’t have to stress about a dying battery that could cost thousands to replace.
Thanks for the replies. I saw it listed and figured I’d check with you all first.
Just so you know, this Camry generation didn’t come with a hybrid SE version.
