Is this price for a fully loaded 2025 XSE Hybrid okay or too high?

I’m in Southern California and just got a price quote on a fully loaded 2025 XSE Hybrid. The dealer didn’t add anything extra and said it’s selling at sticker price. Taxes are around $3400 though.

Here’s what they gave me:

$37,960 - Base price

$4,140 - Factory options and accessories

$1,203 - Port added extras

$1,395 - Delivery and handling fee

Total: $44,698

Does this seem like a fair price?

Hard to say. Some extras are worth it… others just feel like fluff.

These are the extras on mine:

Advanced tech for XSE
11-speaker JBL Audio
Digital rearview mirror
Premium paint
Panoramic glass roof
Door edge guards
Rear bumper protection
Mudguards
All-weather mats
Blackout badges
Cross bars

All that adds up to $5,343.

@Teal
Yeah, this actually looks alright. At least you’re not paying for useless paint film or those silly VIN etchings. You’ll definitely pay more for some of this stuff than you would online — like the cross bars. But overall it’s not bad if you’re okay with the setup.

@Ozzie
I don’t really want the panoramic roof, but it comes standard on the fully loaded version… no way around it.

I picked up the same car with sound, winter, and tech packages for $42k in Oregon. Gotta say… the panoramic roof is my favorite part.

This one comes with the Premium JBL Audio too.

I didn’t go through the Costco program. They only had a $725 discount on this model anyway.

Yeah, that sounds pretty close to what we paid for ours back in October.

Honestly, that looks like a solid deal. Nothing crazy added in and the price is right around normal.

Quick question… is it still possible to custom order a car with just the stuff you want?

Last time I tried, the dealership kept pushing in-stock cars with big discounts.
