This is definitely one of the best cars out there. Trust me, you have an amazing version of it, and I wouldn’t change a thing if I were you. The stealthy speed is what makes the Avalon so great in my opinion.
I actually own a TRD Avalon, and finding TRD parts can be a bit of a hassle. Since the TRD Avalon is discontinued and only about 3500 were made, your best bet is to look online on sites like eBay, try junkyards, or go to a Toyota dealer. Some dealers require a VIN from a TRD Avalon to sell you parts, so be ready for that. Common items like the shift knob or floor mats are easier to find, but the TRD exhaust and steering wheel are compatible with the Camry TRD, so you might look there. The TRD Avalon body kit is the toughest to get—you’ll need luck or maybe some creativity.
@Tallis
Thanks so much for your help. The main thing I’m really after is the body kit. Have you seen anything like what I’m looking for?
@Tallis
Can you explain the differences between the TRD trim and the Touring?
The Avalon has the same body and engine as the Lexus ES350. The biggest difference is the design and, of course, the price.
@Austin
I’ve been in a couple of ES350s, and neither had that pleather that wears out like the Avalon’s does over time. Ever seen a Lexus with fake leather?

The interior doesn’t quite match up to Lexus quality though, you can definitely see the difference there.
@silikmed
That really depends on the trim. Basic ES350 interiors aren’t the best either. Of course, if you go for the Luxury or Ultra Luxury trims, they’re way nicer but also more expensive. My Avalon XSE Nightshade has an interior I actually prefer over a basic ES350 since it even has automatic seat adjustments.

I can’t speak for all the different models and years, but when I was car shopping in 2021, I test drove several ES350s and ended up with the Avalon XSE Nightshade. For me, it had a better cabin than the basic Lexus options. Lexus only has real leather in the Luxury trim, and I didn’t bother testing that one since it’s around 20k more expensive.
@Austin
Totally get that. And don’t get me wrong, I love my Avalon too! It’s an awesome car; I just have a hard time with the pleather.
For my Avalon Touring, I just added the TRD wheels and exhaust. Looks really good if you ask me.

Agreed, the wheels look nice. I’m really interested in the body kit though.
Nice, I just bought a 2017 limited with 60k on it. Loving it so far.

Yeah, the Limited is great too. Love the interior on that one.
What year is your Avalon?
Black really makes this car stand out.
With some tints, good fitment, and maybe tinting the turn signals on the headlights, that car would look even more awesome.

What’s fitment?

What’s fitment?
It’s when you lower the car a bit, like on coilovers, or get bigger, wider rims—sometimes both. Fitment just means how the wheels sit in the wheel well. Check out fitment galleries online, enter your car’s details, and you’ll see tons of styles with different wheels and lowering options.
