Is this the best look at the 2026 Outback so far?

@Rory
They could also bring back physical buttons instead of putting everything on a screen.

Feels like car makers keep moving in the wrong direction by removing buttons. Touchscreens aren’t great for everything.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The Outback had a solid design, and now they are messing with it.

I don’t hate it.

Just got back into the city, saw it in person and it looks pretty good. A little bigger than the Wilderness, maybe sits a bit higher too. I might trade in my 2025 for it. I have more videos but need time to sort them, will post a full one later.

Wow, this looks bad.

I think I’ll just stick with a solid color. Too much going on with this design.

I’ve seen people with some wild wraps, but this is definitely over the top.

Not that my opinion matters, but after this and the new Forester, my wife and I are moving on. We’ve had 10 Subarus in 12 years. Love my 2024 Outback, but I put 50k miles on it fast, and when it’s time to trade, I might go elsewhere.

That thing looks big. Any chance it’s actually the next-gen Ascent?
