Looking at a RAV4 Hybrid SE … one is made in Japan and the other in Kentucky … is it really worth paying 600 more for the Japan one … any difference in how well they’re made … would love to hear what you think
This guy checks both pretty well … honestly they’re about the same but Japan might pay more attention to small things … both should last long but if I could pick I’d go Japan every time
If both are the same I’d still pick Japan … but no way I’d pay extra for it
I’d take the Japan one but there shouldn’t be a price gap between them

We got ours last month and back then the price was the same … any extra now is probably just the dealer trying to make more money
@Paris
Yeah Toyota said they won’t raise prices unless they say so … weird if dealers are doing it

Not sure how tariffs work with cars … maybe that’s why
I’d go Japan … if you think Kentucky workers are just as careful then save the money … but I’d spend the 600 for better quality
Paint is thicker … panels fit better … less chance of rattles … but dealers don’t really care where it’s made … try asking another dealer with a Japan one to match the price
Japan one for me
Japan all the way … people can argue but I think Japan does it better … check out The Car Care Nut on youtube
I like when the VIN starts with a J
Scotty says Japan is better … so I got the J model

Scotty doesn’t know what he’s talking about anymore
No real difference
Shouldn’t the Japan one be cheaper by like 300 … and still better quality
Only thing I noticed is Canadian RAV4 windshields crack easier than Japan ones … no idea about Kentucky
I went with Japan
Same specs unless you count the front tow hook spot
Some are also made in Canada
