Helped my daughter buy her first car today! She finished nursing school last year and has been saving up. She’s moving to Maryland next year, so I wanted something safe, good in traffic, and ready for snow and ice. AWD was a must, but finding a gas RAV4 with AWD in Florida is nearly impossible. Ended up going with the Hybrid since AWD is standard, and the price difference was small.
Dealer quoted $37K for a 2025 XLE Hybrid with no extra packages. After taxes and fees, the total was over $41K. Got them down to $34,500, then used the $500 college grad rebate and traded in her beat-up 2007 Ford Fusion for another $1K off. Final cost: $33K before taxes/fees. Walked out paying a little over $36K OTD.
She put down $10K and went with Toyota financing to get a better deal, but she’s planning to pay it off before the first payment in 45 days. Car had 4 miles on it and was just delivered to the dealership yesterday. Picked it up this morning! Hope this helps anyone shopping for a RAV4.
That’s seems unheard of – especially since a lot are selling before they hit the lot. I’m having trouble finding an XLE Premium variant, not mentioning my preferences for color + package add-on’s.
