Just got a 2025 RAV4 Hybrid today… how does my deal compare?

Helped my daughter buy her first car today! She finished nursing school last year and has been saving up. She’s moving to Maryland next year, so I wanted something safe, good in traffic, and ready for snow and ice. AWD was a must, but finding a gas RAV4 with AWD in Florida is nearly impossible. Ended up going with the Hybrid since AWD is standard, and the price difference was small.

Dealer quoted $37K for a 2025 XLE Hybrid with no extra packages. After taxes and fees, the total was over $41K. Got them down to $34,500, then used the $500 college grad rebate and traded in her beat-up 2007 Ford Fusion for another $1K off. Final cost: $33K before taxes/fees. Walked out paying a little over $36K OTD.

She put down $10K and went with Toyota financing to get a better deal, but she’s planning to pay it off before the first payment in 45 days. Car had 4 miles on it and was just delivered to the dealership yesterday. Picked it up this morning! Hope this helps anyone shopping for a RAV4.

That’s a solid deal. $37K OTD before trade-in sounds fair.

Welcome to Maryland! If she’s east of I-95, snow and ice won’t be a big deal—if we even get any.

I got my Hybrid XLE last week with 7 miles on it. Paid around $37-38K total.

We paid $41K OTD for our 2025 XLE Hybrid, but it had nearly all the accessories plus the Convenience and Weather packages.

I paid $42K OTD for my 2024 XLE Premium Hybrid with the same packages. I’m in NY.

I got a 2025 XLE Hybrid with both packages for $38K, but my dealer was offering a $2,826 discount on all RAV4s.

@DEONTE
Where at? My dealer tacked on $2,700 in accessories we didn’t even ask for, which pushed it to $41K.

New Hampshire! Nashua to be exact.

I got a 2025 Hybrid Limited fully loaded with a towing package for $51K OTD. Picking it up next week… can’t wait!

That’s a steep price if that’s in USD!

Wish we had U.S. pricing up here… Canada’s prices are ridiculous.

Really? I always thought cars were cheaper in Canada.

Nah, our currency is weaker. CAD is worth about 0.75 USD.

@Marsden
I think it’s actually closer to 0.69 right now.

Canadian prices aren’t bad at all compared to other places. Not sure what the other guy is talking about.

I got my XLE Hybrid with the Cold Weather package for $35,070 before taxes in Maine about a month ago.

Best car I’ve ever owned! Congrats to your daughter on her new ride!

Over 2 grand of a discount on Rav4’s?! Wow!

That’s seems unheard of – especially since a lot are selling before they hit the lot. I’m having trouble finding an XLE Premium variant, not mentioning my preferences for color + package add-on’s.
