Just hit 16K miles on my 2025 Camry… anyone else?

Here’s a quick update on my 2025 Camry after reaching 16,000 miles. Everything’s running well so far!

Had any problems with it?

I’ve had mine for about a year and just passed 17,000 miles. No issues with how it runs — the hybrid system works smoothly and it’s got enough power. It’s a solid engine and setup overall. The only stuff that’s bugged me is how it’s built. Like some of the past models made in the US, the fit and finish aren’t perfect. I had a rattling noise from the top middle window area that I managed to fix, but the window seals are still not great. My dealer said that’s just how Toyota makes them now — basically, they didn’t want to fix it. Still, it’s a great car. The tech updates are much better than the last version.

What was wrong with the window seal? I’ve got a rattle from the front passenger door that I can’t seem to fix. I put soundproof foam and material inside the door but it still rattles, usually only above 65 mph. It started around 4,000 miles.

My left rear door had a bad window seal — seems like it was installed wrong or something. At highway speeds, I get a lot of wind noise from that side, but the right side is quiet. The dealer took off the outer seal, replaced and reglued it, but the sound never went away. They said it was probably a defect and that’s just how some of them come. It’s annoying but I got used to it. Someone else in this forum mentioned a similar rattle. My neighbor had a 2017 RAV4 with the same kind of noise in the passenger door — tried everything and it still rattled. Best thing to do is go to the dealer, point it out, and see if they’ll fix it.

Appreciate the info. I’ll keep looking into it, and if I can’t sort it out, I’ll just live with it. Still love the car.
