Just picked her up… my 2018 Limited!

Had it for about two weeks now—first thing I had to do was ditch that chrome :nauseated_face:. Coming along pretty nicely, if I say so myself!

@Ezri
Ooo where’d you get that grille? :eyes:

How’d you go about deleting the chrome—vinyl, paint?

Looks awesome, by the way!

Thanks! I used a mix—some vinyl, some HyperDip (off-brand Plasti Dip). Like, the front and rear chrome got HyperDip, while the trim and handles are vinyl or covers. Just depended what worked best.

@Tanisha
Gotcha, I’ll look into HyperDip. Appreciate it!

Deleting the chrome is so much better. These Limiteds out here looking like 7th graders with braces otherwise :joy:

Haha yeah, the chrome was way too much for me. Had to be the first thing to go.

Chrome delete was the right move for sure… but you missed the roof rack! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Lol I know! I’ve actually got the stuff to do it—I’m just not sure if I want to yet.

Honestly, most people won’t even notice. But you might be able to snag a black factory rack—tons of folks ditch them for aftermarket setups. It’s easy to swap.

@FaithJones
That’s a solid idea, I’ll start keeping an eye out.

Bet they’re on Facebook Marketplace for cheap or even free. People just want them gone.

Yeah good point! I’d love to go full aftermarket eventually, but that can wait a bit.

Just in case one photo wasn’t enough… here’s another near-identical one to help clarify I also bought a 4Runner. :joy:
