I bought a 2024 Limited Venza for my parents two months back. It was a great deal since it had only 2k miles, and the BMW dealership didn’t fully know its features, so we got a significant discount. I’ve also driven both the Venza and RAV4, and the Venza definitely wins for long trips — I’ve done 12-hour drives to Canada in it. With comfortable seats, insulation, double-pane front windows, and the way the tires handle road noise, it’s a quiet, smooth ride.
I recently installed a dashcam and found that grounding it under the steering wheel was challenging since the Venza has nearly every inch covered, unlike the RAV4, which had bare metal spots for grounding.
If you don’t mind the RAV4’s bit of extra space, go for the Venza. We thought of waiting for the Crown Signia, but it turned out to be smaller and sits lower to the ground.
And don’t worry about the panoramic roof. It opens up the cabin, especially for rear-seat passengers. If your insurance covers glass, there’s nothing to worry about.
Hey! I can’t speak for the Limited, but I have the 2024 Venza XLE with the upgraded sound system. My wife drives a 2023 RAV4 XLE Hybrid.
The Venza feels more refined. The interior has a lot more leather (compared to the RAV’s mixed materials), which may be better if you don’t have kids or a messy lifestyle.
Comfort-wise, the Venza wins with smoother rides, more comfortable seats, and a quieter cabin. The RAV4 has a bigger trunk and about the same fuel economy.
So, it depends on your lifestyle. If you have kids, pets, or do messy hobbies, go for the RAV4. Otherwise, the Venza is like that fancy, surprisingly comfortable pair of shoes you just had to buy. Both are solid, but the Venza is better for those who don’t need rugged durability.

Since I’m single, I probably don’t need too much space.
Then if you’re not hauling around a lot of gear or anything dirty, go for the Venza. I think people like the RAV4 because it can handle a messier lifestyle, but the Venza is just a more stylish, comfortable, and practical choice if you don’t need the extra ruggedness.
To me, it’s like the difference between using fine china versus plastic plates. The Venza is the fine china. If you don’t need a tough car, the Venza is the better buy.
I just bought a new Venza for $44,500, without the moonroof (repairs can be costly, and we get hail where I live). It was about $2k more than the RAV4 Hybrid XSE in cavalry blue. I went with the Venza in white with a boulder interior, which was the last one available near me, and I was set on either white or titanium glow.

What’s the sales tax rate where you are? If you still have the quote sheet, that’d be helpful. Venza stock is limited now, so congrats on finding the one you wanted!

We’ve been waiting 2 months for this exact setup, and it should arrive this week. Our quoted OTD price is $45,000 without the glass roof.
The $45,000 doesn’t include taxes or fees. With those added, it’s $49,560.75.

Thanks for the info. Do you still have the quote sheet? It might help me when I talk to the dealer.

Might be worth waiting closer to year-end? But I get it, I’m in the market for a new Venza Limited too.
I wouldn’t wait too long since inventory is already low. If you find the one you want, buy it now. Don’t expect to get much off the sticker price either. I just got a 2024 XLE, and my dealer had to go 90 miles out to find one. Haven’t seen any Limited models around.
