Looking for some off-road wheels for my LC 100, any suggestions? What lift should I consider first?

I’m looking for new tires and wheels for my LC 100. I’d like something more off-road capable but don’t want to break the bank. Also, should I do a lift before swapping the wheels?

Really the only rim for off-road tires. For onroad/everyday use, stock rims are perfect.

Ugh. No. I have them on my 01 LC I just picked up and they are gross for a LC.

Lame. Good enough for the UN, good enough for me. And $80 for a set of 5.

@Kerry
Good wheels but really heavy. Had some but changed them out to Tundra TRD takeoffs.

Yeah but why spend $1000 to get 12 mpg instead of 11mpg?

I think I spent $500 all-in, including tires, and sold my original set so they were basically free. They seemed to weigh a lot less and maybe it’s psychological but the handling improved with the alloys too.

@Flint
What type of tires? Thanks .

Those were a set of BFG Ko2’s 35x12.5, they ride like a CLOUD and are so fun tooling around off road

Don’t those rub a bit for you? I have 33’s and sometimes get rubbing.

@Asher
Ahh well I might have simplified my math equation a bit. This truck had a beefy Icon stage something lift, a few total chaos parts too. A small amount of trimming was done in the front wheel well near where the mudflap would go but zero rubbing after that. I know it’s also sacrilege but it had a small wheel spacer set too.

Keep em… don’t butcher the beauty. Put AT’s at the most. But then it’s your ride your $$$$

:pray: and will sell the OEM wheels for a penny on the dollar

Method wheels

I’m actually looking for some good wheels that have an offset that works with stock height and 18” tires
