Just wanted to share how much I love this thing. It’s been holding up great and looks awesome.
That’s a sick beach pic.
That bumper is clean. What brand?

Appreciate it! It’s a Pelfrey aluminum bumper, but unfortunately, they don’t make them anymore.

Damn, I’ve been looking for something like that, especially in aluminum.
@Raine
Yeah, I feel you. I actually bought the truck with most of the mods already done, except for the wheels and headlights, which I added. Both bumpers, the roof rack, and the bed rack are discontinued, so finding info on them is tough. The roof rack has a light bar mount that I want to swap for a regular wind visor, but the company wants a crazy amount to custom-make one since they don’t have parts anymore. Total pain lol.
@Blane
You just need a piece of 1/8-inch aluminum cut and powder coated for the visor.

I was thinking about just cutting out the light bar part and filling it in with the same material. I’m not the best at precision cuts though, so I’d probably mess it up lol.
@Blane
A shop could do that for cheap, at least where I am.

Damn, can’t believe I didn’t think of that. Thanks man lmao.

Fellow surfcaster here… don’t your rods stick out past the tailgate? I’d be worried about breaking one.

@Blane
Ah, I see. I use a roof-mounted ski rack since all my rods are 10-11 ft one-piece. Was just curious if you were throwing long rods on that mount.
What size tires you running?

285/75/17 (34-inch tires).

Nice. I’m thinking about going bigger. Did you have to trim anything for that size? Not sure what I can fit without a lift or trimming.
@Hayden
Yeah, I had to trim a bit. I’ve got 2.5 inches of lift in the front and 3 in the rear. Before I got these wheels (-25 offset), I had -10 offset with the same tires, and even then, I had to cut a good chunk of the body mounts on both sides and weld them. Also hammered in the bottom corners of the fenders (but my over-fenders cover the damage, so your call on that), trimmed and hammered the pinch welds, and did some fender liner trimming. That got rid of most of the rubbing. But now, with the -25 offset, I’m rubbing again on the body mounts and firewall when I hit bumps or reverse at full lock. Planning to trim the body mounts more and lift the front another half-inch to even it out and clear the firewall better.
