Michelin CrossClimate 2 vs. Bridgestone WeatherPeak for 2020 Camry SE FWD?

I’m debating between these two tires for my 2020 Camry SE FWD. Planning to get them from Costco, but they only have the Michelin CrossClimate 2 in 235/45R18/XL, not the regular ones.

I drive up to Big Bear in Southern California a lot for snowboarding, so I need something that can handle the snow well. Which one should I go with?

I vote CrossClimate. I have them on my car and love them. Haven’t tried the Bridgestones though.

CrossClimate at Costco is a solid choice, but if I had to pick from anywhere, I’d go with Goodyear WeatherReady 2.

I originally wanted to put CrossClimate 2s on my wife’s Forester, but they were sold out in the Toronto area due to their popularity. Ended up getting the Bridgestone WeatherPeak instead.

Had them for 18 months now, partway through the second winter, and I’ve been pretty happy with them. They ride smooth in both summer and winter. We took the car on a road trip to Florida in 100°F weather, and there wasn’t any noticeable wear like you’d see with winter tires. They also perform well on snow-covered roads.

The CrossClimate 2s get great reviews, but one common complaint I’ve seen is a slight drop in fuel economy. With the WeatherPeaks, our car still gets good MPG, no difference from the OEM all-season tires, and wear has been minimal so far.
