Hey all, I need some help with my 2015 RAV4. It’s time for an oil change, so the ‘maintenance required’ light came on. I tried looking up how to reset it, but everything says to hold in the trip odometer button… but my car doesn’t seem to have one. If anyone knows another way to reset this light, I’d really appreciate the help!
Honestly, it might have been faster to just Google this than to make a forum post.
There’s a small button on the lower right side of the display behind the steering wheel. Press it to switch between Odometer, Trip A, and Trip B. Hold it down to reset.

Fair point, but hey, we’re here now.
@Mecarmind1
And you could have just given me that info without the attitude. Would have been more helpful.
Like I mentioned, I already tried looking it up, but the instructions I found said to hold the trip odometer button while turning the key, which doesn’t work because my car doesn’t have that button. So, I’m asking here in case someone knows another method.

Yeah, as unnecessary as your question. You’re lucky they didn’t just drop a ‘Let me Google that for you’ link.

That link never gets old.

Seems like people are just more interested in being rude than actually helping out. Thanks for showing your true colors.

Wow, downvoted for sharing a page from the owner’s manual with both reset options. Classic.
@Dylan
Seriously, thank you. I appreciate the help and for not being like the others. Hope you have a good one!
