Reviews on Toyota Curren ZS

Hello,

I’m looking for information on the Toyota Curren. Does anyone have details on English-language websites about it? Also, I’m interested in whether it’s available in left-hand drive (LHD) or right-hand drive (RHD), and if there’s a GT-Four model. I’ve been searching but haven’t found any information, so any help would be appreciated.

The Toyota Curren, produced from 1995 to 1998, was a compact car based on the Celica platform, available as a coupe or convertible primarily in Japan. Hence Curren are scarce.

Based on Your Questions

  1. The Curren was mainly produced in right-hand drive (RHD) for Japan; there’s no evidence of a left-hand drive (LHD) version.
  2. Toyota did not offer a GT-Four variant of the Curren; the GT-Four was exclusive to models like the Celica.

While the Curren isn’t widely known outside Japan, Toyota enthusiast communities and forums may offer more information.

It’s a good choice. They’re well built and designed for everyday driving, unlike more dedicated sports cars with tricky clutches. Good luck, and remember, you will stall at some point, so don’t worry about it.
