I’m within a few hundred pounds of the limit. Tires, airbags, and the stiffer sway bar make it feel solid. I thought I might need to worry about brakes, but the Tow/Haul mode does a great job on steep declines.

That’s a bad take. Most of the engines are just fine and still going strong. Maybe you should take a hint from that.
