Should I trade to get this 2017 Avalon?

I’m considering trading in my 2020 Jetta for a different car and recently found a Touring trim Avalon that looks great at an excellent price. On the surface, everything seems fine, but compared to similar Avalons in my area, the deal seems almost too good to be true.

Is there anything specific about this model year or anything on the Carfax report that should raise concerns? Here’s the link for reference:

Carfax Report

Toyota Avalon 2013-2018 and especially the 2016-2018 years is one of the best cars Toyota has ever made, including V6 and hybrid versions. master Toyota mechanic who now has his own shop—one of the best cars

@Starry
Nice, thank you! Still want to do my due diligence and make sure this specific car was treated as well as possible, but it sure does add a layer of confidence knowing what Car Car Nut mentioned in the video.

I have a 2016 Toyota Avalon hybrid limited. Most creature-comfort car I’ve ever had.

Seems solid, but I would go for a limited if you want a plush ride and some more options. If you don’t mind the firm ride of the touring and the dated infotainment, go for it.

I checked out Carfax, and there are some large intervals between oil changes, BUT the owner may have had more done that are unreported. I have a 2013 with 125,000 kms. Sleeper. V6 with Sport mode tranny. It’s been bulletproof and it’s roomy as hell. Huge back seat and large trunk for my jockey bag.

@Zariah
Appreciate you looking at that. Yeah, I did notice that too. Hopefully, they did them at independent shops and I’m not sure if places like Jiffy Lube report basic oil changes to Carfax. Hopefully, it was garage-kept; that would be the cherry on top. Thank you again!

Yes.

I love it.

Just be aware, my 2016 touring pumps fake engine noise into the cabin. Anything above 3k rpm is normal, but be aware if you were looking for a quiet ride.

Yes, you will not regret it.

Isn’t the touring the better model? The touring comes with 18-inch fog lights and backup detection standard. Avalons are bulletproof; the 2017 is perfect as the cat came out in 2013, so you have a late model year. They fixed all the small issues if anything.
