@Lilly
How does my battery need a head gasket replacement??
They’re calling this a 2025 model, but isn’t that like… right now? Feels weird that we don’t have an exact release date yet.

Guideautoweb says mid-2025. Probably means they’ll start rolling them out whenever they’re ready.

New models roll out months ahead of their model year. So yeah, 2025 models will be out most of next year.

People are already putting in orders for these. This is old news.
Really hoping this makes the CVT a little less annoying.

It should help. This is an eCVT, which means no belts or chains. Electric motors give you instant power. If you’ve driven a CR-V hybrid, it’s similar tech.
They better do something about the infotainment too.

Next Outback is bringing back real buttons. Forester is probably stuck with the current screen until a refresh.
This is gonna sell like crazy. Toyota dealerships in my area are terrible, so people might go for Subaru instead.

Toyota is the one supplying the hybrid system. Subaru still has a long way to go to catch up.
Orders are open now, deliveries expected around May. Subaru thinks about 70% of Forester buyers will pick the hybrid over gas models.
They should ditch the boxer engine too.

But that’s what makes a Subaru… a Subaru.
