Saw this widebody MK5 Supra with a stance setup and thought it looked pretty cool. But is it really JDM? What do you guys think?
What exactly makes this JDM? It’s left-hand drive, built in Austria with European parts, and sitting at a gas station in the U.S. JDM cars are usually right-hand drive, show temperatures in °C, and speed in km/h. Plus, you need to wait 25 years to import a real JDM into the States. This doesn’t seem to check any of those boxes.
Yeah, not really JDM.
I actually have a MK5, but the number of them posted here is kinda getting out of hand. Feels like people are trolling sometimes.
This might be one of the worst things to happen to ‘JDM culture’ since Germany got involved.
Looks cool, but it’s not really practical for anything.

I’d daily it for sure, and I know a few people who actually drive cars like that every day.
