I’m new to Subaru Foresters and looking at getting a 2016-2017 XT (or maybe not). I don’t mind paying for premium gas, so that’s not an issue. I came across this one, but it’s going through inspection by the SAAQ since it’s originally from Ontario, and I’m in Quebec.

If I’m right, Subaru extended the CVT warranty to 10 years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km). This one is listed at $15,950 CAD ($11,743.92 USD) with 180,000 km (112,000 miles). It had one owner and no accidents on the Carfax. I have a feeling the previous owner kept it until the CVT warranty ran out.
Just wanted to hear your thoughts. Right now, I’m about 60% yes and 40% no.
