My experience was different. Going from a gas car to a hybrid only increased my premium by $25 a month.
@GNE, best bet is to get a quote for both cars. That way, you’ll know what you’re getting into.

I think it’s more of a 2025 Camry issue right now. Could be inflation, new safety features, or even the new hybrid system. And maybe it’s just that hybrids are still pretty rare.
If you go with the Camry, make sure to shop around for insurance first.

So you think the Corolla Hybrid is a safer bet? Just not sure if you mean this is about the new Camrys or hybrids in general.

I haven’t heard of any complaints about the insurance rates for the Corolla Hybrid. But I’ve seen a lot about the 2025 Camry Hybrid. So yeah, maybe the Corolla is better in that sense.
