All the reviews of the app are basically 1 or 2 stars saying it’s unusable and garbage. Is that true? I’m looking at a 2024 Prius and would like to use the phone app and smartwatch app. Just wondering before I get it although I don’t think it would be a deal breaker, just a huge disappointment.
It got better with updates. Works perfectly fine for my Corolla.
Edit: iPhone 13
Works fine, the interface is basic, but the app is slow.
I have had zero problems using the Toyota app on my iPhone 14 Pro Max with my 2025 Camry.

That’s great to hear. Thanks for commenting. How are you liking the 2025 Camry?
That was my original choice, but I think the Prius will be a better value for money in my situation even though it’s a bit on the smaller side.
@Zayden
I’ll answer! I’ve owned my 2025 Camry for half a year now, and I’m loving it. The pricing on the base is pretty close to the Prius, and you get a lot more in comparison. There’s more space, rear seat AC vents (even on the base), and it’s more comfortable. I’ve averaged 55.5 MPG with primarily highway driving and nearly 7,000 miles. Could be better with more city driving, but no complaints!

I love the way the Prius looks on the outside and the PHEV aspect, but I can’t get behind the interior, especially the dash and how the screen gets obscured by the steering wheel. Plus, it’s a bit too small for my needs. But it’s sharp-looking!
I chose the Camry mainly for Toyota’s reliability. My husband has one, and his family has several, so it felt like the right move. There’s nothing super exciting about the Camry, but it’s comfortable, reliable, and roomy, which is what I need right now.
