I just had my battery replaced, and when I gave my car’s specs at the auto service desk, they gave me a Group 35 battery. I just checked my old one, and it was a 24F. Does this actually make a difference?
Ever since the swap, my radio has been acting up. It turns on, but the touchscreen and buttons don’t work. Could the battery change be causing this?
Toyota’s catalog lists 24F, but for some reason, aftermarket lists both. The battery size itself wouldn’t affect the radio, but you should check if the new battery has the same cold cranking amps (CCA).
