Toyota Teams Up with Nvidia for Smarter Self-Driving Tech

Toyota is partnering with Nvidia to bring advanced AI and self-driving features to their next-generation vehicles. The focus is on improving safety and creating a smarter driving experience. What do you think of this move?

I just want a basic, fuel-efficient, cheap car. Is that too much to ask? :sob::joy:

Toyotas haven’t been that way since early 2020, sadly.

No thanks. We don’t need more AI-powered cars spying on us or adding parts that only the manufacturer can fix. This is why I bought a 2001 Tacoma a few months ago. Simple, reliable, and I can fix it myself if anything breaks.

I hear you. Modern cars are already tracking so much data. Plus, all these fancy systems drive up prices and only work half the time.

And don’t even get me started on repairs. Someone taps your bumper, and suddenly it’s $10k to fix sensors. :joy:

@Zayne
Exactly! Tesla isn’t making most of its money from the cars—they’re cashing in on the data they collect under the guise of ‘safety.’

Source: trust me, bro. :wink:

PRISM was 18 years ago. Old enough to enlist in the military now. Anything after 2007? Probably compromised.

And let’s not forget the device you’re using to post this comment. :face_with_peeking_eye:

Also, good luck sourcing parts if that old Tacoma ever gets wrecked.

@Zan
Toyota still makes parts for it, and the aftermarket support for these trucks is massive. I’m not worried about that.

Where do I sign up for this?
