Update… 34s and 3.5-Inch Lift Installed!

To everyone who cried about how I went with a rough country lift it works fine I notice no difference in the ride and I love the look. 34x12.50 wheels there is a little rubbing on full turn but other than that on to the next mods

There are so many RC haters on here. I love my M1 3.5" lift. It rides better than stock, and RCs quality has gotten much better over the years. I went with 295/70r18, so basically, 34.3x11.66 on +18 offset. I get zero rub while turning and maybe just a little if articulated.

@Briar
Is that MGM with bronze wheels? I’m about 95% sure I’m ditching my platinum wheels for some dark bronze 17s. Do you have a side shot so I can get a better look? That setup looks awesome!

Thinking about getting the SCS Ray 10s… drooling

@Oswin
The color is called pepper gold metallic. I painted them myself. When I did this, the wheels I wanted were on backorder, I was told, due to a pigment shortage. So I bought them in black and went for it.

@Briar
Yeah, I think this just sold me on the bronze! That looks so good and definitely stands out from all the black wheels out there. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, black wheels are everywhere now. Bronze is getting more popular too, but I like how it adds a little pop of color and actually shows off the design of the wheel better.

@Briar
From this angle, it looks like the front badge would match the bronze and tie everything together nicely.

I thought about it, but I was worried it might look a little too flashy. I blacked out the other badges and left the front chrome so it stands out more.

@Oswin
Oh, and thanks, by the way!

That build looks awesome! Love the wheels and the cap.

Thanks, man! Running Method 305s and a Leer 100XR cap.

How do you like that camper shell/bed cover? Thinking about getting one for my first-gen Tundra. Is it easy to take off, or is it more of a permanent setup? Any opinions welcome!

Since I wired it to my lights, it’s more of a ‘put it on and leave it’ type of thing. But there are ways to work around that. Honestly, I just keep it on—super useful, especially dealing with snow all the time.

34s look solid, but I feel like 35s are the sweet spot.

Depends on what you’re going for. I’d love 35s or even 37s, but 34s felt like a good middle ground for a daily driver.
